Homework #4 

1. Read Evaluating_IDs_DARPA_1998.pdf and discex00_paper.pdf.
You may also want to look at http://www.ll.mit.edu/SST/ideval
Briefly describe how the data for the DARPA evaluations was collected:
  - What was the basic setup of the simulation?
  - How was "normal" data created; email, web, ...?
  - How was attack data created?
  - What was the experiment that researchers were to run; what was
    the training data, test data, what did they know, how were they
	 to report their results, ...?

2. Read p262-mchugh.pdf. Give 10 criticisms (1-3 sentences each)
of the MITLL data and/or evaluations.
